T-Mobile for Business Video Series
My role as Director of Photography in the T-Mobile for Business video series allowed me to dive deep into the telecom giant's inner workings during an unprecedented time. Working alongside Director Simon Clark and Producer Quinn Rudee, we embarked on a marathon of creativity—83 production days on T-Mobile's vibrant Bellevue campus. Our task was complex yet thrilling: capture the essence of T-Mobile's leadership and their journey through the pandemic and beyond.
One standout piece from our series brought T-Mobile's dynamic CEO, Mike Sievert, into the spotlight, interviewed by the ever-engaging Mike Katz. As they delved into topics of risk, resilience, and the monumental merger with Sprint—all through the lens of stepping into the CEO role amidst global uncertainty—my team and I crafted visual storytelling that was both intimate and expansive.
Employing multiple Canon C500II cameras coupled with the precision of Canon CN-E prime lenses, we were committed to not just preserving but enhancing T-Mobile's established brand aesthetic. The depth and clarity of our imagery reflected the company's clarity of vision and leadership.
In weaving these narratives, we aimed to parallel T-Mobile's own narrative of technological prowess and industry leadership. The series underscored a pivotal corporate message: "We are living in a moment of unparalleled opportunity." Each frame was a testament to T-Mobile's claim of a superior network, one that offers "the fastest speeds, most consistent, best video, lowest latency" and stands "undefeated for 5G network consistency."
Our collective efforts were not simply about meeting the client's needs but about exceeding them, ensuring that each video was a capsule of the moment's urgency and opportunity. As T-Mobile forges ahead in the 5G era, our video series stands as a hallmark of their journey and a beacon of the innovation that businesses can harness today.
