Tools and Techniques for Working Fast and Efficiently

The Seattle Waldorf School's mission to prepare students for life was at the core of our project, a series of promotional videos designed for social and broadcast platforms. I had the privilege of being the Director of Photography for this series, collaborating with Creative Director Brett Wietecha and Motivo Media agency. Our technical setup included the Canon C300 Mark 3 with CN-E prime lenses, Aputure lighting for the set, and the Dana Dolly for smooth motion shots. The Tilta Nucleus M was crucial for wireless follow focusing, enhancing our efficiency on set. We also used a wireless Flanders Scientific BM210 monitor, which allowed for rapid location changes and assisted the director in maintaining consistent framing. Sound was an integral part of these videos, and we captured it using my Sound Devices 833, ensuring high-quality interviews.
