Hydro Flask
Hydro Flask - Adventure Ready
I joined forces with the talented Director Riley Morton on a branding expedition for Hydro Flask, set against the versatile backdrop of sunny beaches and rugged mountains. As the cinematographer for the mountain crew, I was entrusted with the mission of upholding Riley's distinctive visual narrative: to place the Hydro Flask at the heart of every frame amidst a whirlwind of dynamic, athletic life.
Each shot was a testament to the product's promise, with the Hydro Flask maintaining its composure as a beacon of refreshment and reliability. My tools of choice? A suite of camera gimbals, each meticulously configured to keep the flask central to the action—ice, water, go. Whether it was icy cold water mirroring the chill of a snowy trail or a steaming cup of coffee on a ski lift, the Hydro Flask was a constant, indispensable character.
As we ventured from the warmth of the sandy beach to the mountain's summit, our visuals echoed the brand's copy: "We'll keep water icy cold on a hot sunny beach. And serve up a hot coffee on the chairlift ride." The product wasn't just present; it was an active participant in every adventure—hot tea on misty riverside mornings, hot cocoa encouraging children through snow-dusted paths, a cool refreshment during a weekend yoga retreat. This project wasn't merely about showcasing a product; it was about inviting our audience to lead the way, with the assurance that Hydro Flask would faithfully follow, enhancing every step of their journey.
